It is quite remarkable that in Fulin Village pieces of rock -once used to build houses and temples-lie around in many of the small alleys and houses. A figure in a bright yellow suit, with a yellow stone head, carried a huge, self-made, yellow stone through the village. Now and again it stopped and rested. Its bright colour contrasted with the reddish brown and grey of the surroundings, creating a surreal appearance that brings to mind traditional Chinese clothing and rituals, but also refers to trends in contemporary fashion.
