TOTEM
In February, I worked on an assignment by the Swiss-Dutch firm DSM Firmenich, based in Paris. They asked me to create a Totem. This kind of Totem sits at the intersection of art direction, scenography, and cultural foresight. It outlines five archetypes of future consumers. Each type has its own unique identity, visualized in atmospheric videos and multisensory installations. I was commissioned to produce a sculpture of the ‘Amazurians’.
AMAZURIANS
These three Amazurians embody creative freedom, diversity, and the power of expression. Their outfits, made largely from vintage materials, tell a story of upcycling, authenticity and identity. Nothing about them is conventional; everything exudes individuality. Standing on wooden crates, hey are ready to show that everyone has the freedom to express himself.
