Gold, a performance by Guda Koster & Frans van Tartwijk on the final day of ManiVesta, an art event in Gorinchem. Five performers dressed in golden costumes made from safety blankets walked through the center of Gorinchem, taking five steps forward and three steps backward. On the fifth step, a bell rang. A work that brings to mind traditional religious processions, but the use of the golden safety blankets, meant to help victims of all sort of calamites, also refers to more contemporary issues.
