Three female figures hang upside down, with their feet on the ceiling. We see only their lower bodies covered in colored panties; the rest is hidden under their long, hanging down skirts. The figures’ awkward and, on closer inspection, rather grim poses contrast sharply with the cheerful, brightly colored fabrics in which they are dressed. The work looks tightly composed (even the floor has been given a color) but its meaning can only be guessed at.
